Stop abdicating your responsibility
Designers need to stop abdicating creative responsibility to their users.
"User-centric" doesn't mean it is your user's job to create their own solutions. It means you, the designer, need to go deep in understanding your user's experiences. Then you, the designer, combine this information with information you find elsewhere to create a solution. Know your users. Know the world. Connect the dots.
Do the hard work. No design-thinking or product sprint workshop can replace that.
